Third visit to this great place, the place smells so good when you walk in. We were greeted immediately with a welcome and a warm smile. We got sat very quickly and our server was very friendly, polite and quick. Apps came out fast and so deliciously fresh tasting. The bread is hot and so fresh. The lamb and lentil soup was so fantastic and full of rich flavors. Allspice! The Kibbeh was amazing and my Partners Quail was cooked to perfection with lovely char from the grill. Charred vegetables with just olive oil salt and pepper was a delicious treat. Wish we had room for dessert….. ah maybe next time.

We visited Taboon on a Friday just after 6 PM. Were seated within about 10 minutes, which was reasonable. However, it took another 10 minutes just to place drinks, which felt unnecessarily slow. The place was busy but still seemed too long. The food had strong moments. The grape leaves were good, and the whole deboned chicken meal was terrific; flavorful, tender, and a standout. The lamb shawarma flavor was very good but disappointing in execution: too many fatty pieces and a noticeably light portion of actual lamb compared to other Mediterranean restaurants. The fattoush salads were overloaded with dressing, which made them heavy and unbalanced. Can’t remember the name but one drink tasted medicinal and unpleasant. The bread was phenomenal and hot when arrived. Overall, the flavors at Taboon are good and you can tell there’s talent in the kitchen, especially with the chicken. With better consistency on the shawarma and salads, tighter service on busy nights; this place could be excellent.

Lee, our server made us feel welcomed and appreciated. This was our first time visiting Taboon and they didn’t disappoint. The menu was easy to navigate through and the Mediterranean fare was outstanding. We started off with some warm bread, hommus,and garlic sauce. So good. The fattoosh salad was next, then our main course. The combination dinner included kabobs, tawook, and kafta. The grilled vegetables and rice rounded everything out. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and heartwarming. We will be back.

Our good was so delicious and fresh! We had such amazing waitresses (I believe one was in training) these girls were very attentive. The vibe of the restaurant was very relaxed. Very clean. Pricing was great too!

The food was delicious! Chicken was charred perfectly without being overly dry, the rice was fluffy and the almonds were a nice crunchy touch, the pita bread was soft and warm, and the for two salad woods filled with crispy vegetables. I got the chicken shawarma. The price is fair for the area, there's plenty of parking because it shares the parking lot with a big movie theater, it's not far from the highway less than a mile, and the people are always very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a pretty cool vibe and sad as well there's plenty of seating the lights are kind of dim so there's a nice ambiance. It's a great place for dinner or for lunch. They have pretty decent lunch specials too. Definitely recommend and will be back.
